Q: What films and audio/visual projects have we worked on?
A: TravSonic has worked on top motion pictures, indie films, and TV syndications for audio production which totals to over 400 successful high-profile spots.
Q: When I select a quote, do I have to purchase?
A: No, the quote process is to get an approved estimate. We believe in first giving a free evaluation of your project. Once we feel confident that the project can be fulfilled and you approve the estimate, a payment is required.
Q: What is counted as a revision?
A: Revisions are changes to audio requested by the client during the entire project period. Often referred to as an ‘edit’, a revision typically takes the form of multiple edits done in one sitting. For example, one revision could consist of many edit changes and not just one edit per revision. Many projects take about 4 to 5 full revisions.
Q: How do I pay once I approved an estimate?
A: We will send you an invoice via email to make a secure payment online. If you wish to make a different payment method, it can be arranged.
Q: For how long are quotes valid?
A: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date. This is a no-obligation quote and does not enter you into a contract or payment.
Q: After I have submitted my online project quote, what’s next?
A: Upon placing your quote, a TravSonic representative will contact you to discuss your potential project and customize your package further.
Q: I made an edit to my project after submitting it. Can I submit my files again?
A: Yes, this would count towards your complimentary revisions.
Q: When does my project start for the turnaround time?
A: Your project date starts once you have approved your quote, a payment been made and all the project files have been received.
Q: Can you mix my project for different formats?
A: Yes, we can tailor your project to any sound spec needed for final delivery.
Q: Why are quote options available and not purchases on this website?
A: We believe in evaluating your project to get to know your needs and vision first. Since every project is different, we want to make sure you get exactly what is needed and you feel comfortable. This also ensures the best quality service to our customers.
Q: Can I have my files mailed to me?
A: Yes, we can mail your files on a portable hard drive, flash drive, or other media. This would be an extra fee.
Q: My film has some changes that will modify the duration and sequence. Will this affect my project?
A: It is required that your film is at the final stage and a locked version is submitted for mixing. Once a film is locked, no duration can change along with the sequence. However, footage can be substituted as long as the duration does not change and it does not affect the audio content during the editing and mixing stage.
Result: If the film duration and footage is changed mid project, it may incur an addition fee to resync the audio.
Q: What file format is best to send the audio files for mixing?
Depending on the software used to edit the film, we recommend sending your finished film in AAF or OMF audio format.
