Lance C. Fuller is an award-winning and multiple award nominated voice artist and actor who thrives on being silly, but serious if needs must. He won the One Voice Award for Best Drama Performance Male (in a comedic performance) for playing host Mason Lane in Cold Case Crime Cuts, an NPR style true crime spoof podcast that treated murders in famous songs as if they were real and investigated them…in rather stupid ways.
He has been One Voice shortlisted an additional 4X - twice for best gaming performance (Hitman 2 & Way of the Hunter) and twice for best non-fiction audiobook performance (Bad News & Clean Sweep). He has credits in AAA, indie, and mobile games (Hitman 2 & 3, Lost Souls Aside, AFK Arena), numerous audiobooks (Hunt for Red October), Drama (Sandman Book IV directed by Dirk Maggs, Moby Dick), Commercials, ADR, E-learning, and more.
Originally from the farms, forests, and cheese-villes of Wisconsin (where they say “bubbler” for water fountain and people think they're Canadian), he moved to Silicon Valley and the beauty of the San Francisco Bay area, where he worked in tech for many years, including at Apple Computer. He moved to the boisterous city of Glasgow, Scotland for his Master's in Acting in 2011, and now lives in the diverse and vibrant city of London.
One thing that living in so many different places taught him is adaptation. Different places have different spirits, ways of communicating, what’s acceptable and what’s not, different art, food, and personality. In other words: Culture.
He likes to say, "My voiceover specialty? Walking that perfect line between humo(u)r and professionalism that keeps the audience engaged. I can be serious if you need me to be, but I’ll do it with a deadpan stare. No one will be able to tell if I’m being super serious or not…and that’s my power. Whether you need serious, snarky, or somewhere in between, I'll make sure your message doesn't just get heard—it gets felt."
Lance can also be seen in Sandman Season 2 on Netflix, the upcoming film Panic Carefully by Sam Esmail, and numerous commercials in the USA and abroad.
He trained at American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and was awarded his Master's in Acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. He has trained with several coaches in voice acting and improv.
